Hey there! I'm Lindsey Habrial, the Owner and Founder of The Shabby Store. 

Back in 2013, armed with just an idea and $213, I kicked off The Shabby Store while juggling a day job at a big medical device company. Nights were all about building my dream and mastering Etsy. My goal? Ditch the 9-to-5 grind and be my own boss within a year. Mission accomplished at the 10-month mark!

I'm no rookie in the start up business world. Entrepreneurship runs in my veins. My first gig, Loadedcouponbook.com, a coupon binder system, was born from spotting a niche during the couponing craze. Lessons learned there fueled The Shabby Store's vision.

Fast forward a decade, and The Shabby Store is thriving! We have revamped houses, jet-setted the world in search of unique home decor, teamed up with rescues and charities, and collaborated on cool projects with designers, influencers, and hotels. Even my hubby joined the fun during the wild growth of 2020. We wisely invested those profits into a dream Airbnb venture in the Poconos - Pocono Homesteads. Buying a house, launching an Airbnb, and crafting a concept Airbnb? Absolutely awesome. Our Pocono Homesteads Airbnb (Birchview Homestead) soared to one of the top-rated spots in the Poconos before we bid it farewell in 2023.
